Title: Fake Chinese Copper Turret Posts

I just received these standoffs from ebay advertised as Gold plated Pure copper soldering pins etc

They are all Brass, nuts copper plated, standoffs gold plated.

Ref pic, LHS I have filed off gold plating on turret post and copper plating on nut.

Lying little buggers!

PcX has these: http://www.partsconnexion.com/terminal_connex_strip_t.html

The turrets look very similar to the Chinese ones you got though, so you might want to ask PcX if they're real copper.

Many thanks William, I'll check them out, they look great.

Even if the connex are brass (fake), Parts connexion would have a lot more weight in getting them made right
from the manuf.
