Just listened to Rachmaninov Rack III TSO with Gavrylyuk. Brahms I up shortly
Lucky Me gets to see this live tomorrow night at the Albert Hall in Launceston
Keep an eye on the site and see what's on. Post a reminder in this thread for things we should be listening to.

Yes for a small orchestra they are world class. They manage to get some classical superstars at times as well. I have some recordings
of Baiba Skride (Violin), Sol Gabetta (Cello) Howard Shelly (piano and conductor) Martin Froost (clarinet) and many others with the TSO.
This year is the second year I have had a subscription with the TSO. 6 shows and one optional extra was about $440.00. I enjoyed all
the performances last year and am looking forward to a good season ahead.

Not a live performance, nor is it classical, but it will be on ABC Classic FM today. It should be interesting (for me anyway, as I like James Morrison!)
