Found the video interesting, so thought would share.

I can now see why there would be noticeable differences in pressings!

Yes indeed Tuyen the differences and quality between pressings is quite significant, like going from elcheapo Chinese tubes to the exotic vintage NOS tubes.  Unfortunately these well regarded pressings are like vintage NOS tubes and getting pretty damn expensive.

Just like the guys here hunting those exotic tubes I'm doing the same with LP pressings and really enjoying this aspect of the hobby, even though you don't know what you're getting until the stylus hits the groove!  But like those tubes, when you find the right pressing out comes the magic.   8)

Its just a pity that all the LP's I now buy have to be purchased from overseas as the Oz pressings are appalling IMO.  Bloody postage costs, the scourge of the LP lover!   :'(
