« on: October 13, 2010, 10:59:02 PM »
Just put in an order for one of these : http://emotiva.com/xda1.shtm
Just a bit of fun , want to see how it compares to the Gigawork for use with the media tank.
$299 US , plus delivery.

Ill be interested in reading your opinion on this one mate.

Emotiva do seem to be able to produce some very good bits of kit for very little money.

Looks like a great bit of kit for the money indeed ,Aaron.
Fully discrete output stages and a whole lot of other technical stuff.
Keeping my fingers crossed it sounds as good as it looks. Not expecting it to beat the Satch but if it improves the sound of the media tank ,I'll be happy.

Good question Brad , no idea on delivery cost at the moment.
1ST shipment is sold out , so delivery for me won't be till late November.

I think that board was a prototype Crazi.
One of the good things about the Emo , is that it has an inbuilt volume control , so I can patch it into the ht bypass on the Supratek and therefore not have the valve pre running when I am not actually listening properly.
