if the clock is blown then make a clock like my you can still use ac voltage on the regulator that i buy.i just dont like all the crap that converts ac to dc for the crystal that is why i use dc voltage only.i rule for me less is more

Gordon,  Sorry to hear about the misadventure.  At least is sound like it was not an expensive part.

Yeah I wouldn't be too upset Gordon, it's not like it's a Trichord clock!!  :'(

Good to see you've embraced the DIY thing, you may have hit the point of no return?? ::)

Based on a Rotel RCD855 ,with Audio-gd clock and psu.
Coax out taken directly from pin 14 of the SAA7220PB.
Damped chassis , main pcb.
Internal wiring : Cat 5 solid core
Digital caps upgraded to Blackgates.
Early pic :
Well done ozcal. Fine job, Little money big result, you may be new to it but we all start somewhere. I did the DIY thing because of the flood of poor sounding components out there, I wanted greatness but not at $60,000. Soon i will show you fellow nuts how to make a killer amp and what parts to use and how. How good will it be. If you have the speakers it needs. Unsurpassed magic
