Tuner guide list
« on: March 05, 2014, 08:16:13 PM »
Guys, some excellent reading here

http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/

And the best of best shootout lists

http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/shootouts.html

I'm not sure why but valve tuners seem to be in their own category. These guys only test solid state tuners
but they talk in the same audiophile terms usually associated with valve gear?

Excellent read Gamve! Thanks! I've been eyeing the Audiolab 8000T on eBay for a while now and they usually go for quite some money (above $350). Do you have one? How do you like it?

Cheers,
William

Yep the Audiolab 8000T is a superb tuner. It has one fault the backlights for the displays are crap and need replacing often.
Apart from that it sounds sensational.
