Coopers the red stuff  ::)

Can't agree more! I started with the green because Brad told me the red was very strong. Well, it's got just the right amount of alcohol content for me, haha!

Another cable which has caught my eye for a while are the ones by Grover Huffmans. Not silly priced and seems to be made from ground up with his special recipe including the plugs. http://www.groverhuffman.com/interconnects

They didn't have Coopers. Other choice was Indian beer. VB was the "safest" choice  :P

Depends on whether your a beer drinker or a pretender. All the guys (read girls) that pick
boutique beers only drink 2 beers a night every three weeks or so. This makes their opinion
null and void and they should stick to mummy's titty  :-*

Lets have a myth busting beer challenge at the next GTG.  :P :P :P  The pretenders against the mountain men.  The pretenders get to drink two beers and the mountain men as much as they like. Then at the end of the night we have a selection of beer served were you don’t know what it is.  Do the mountain men still have their sense of taste,  or do the pretenders have the edge?  Ill act as a moderator for the proceedings.  The only rule being who ever breaks into song before the end of the night will be illiminated from the contest.

Peter, I also tried the interconnect here, and I must say its very very good, Its warm smooth and grainless with interesting lack of distortion, all-over on par with my Yamamura 5000, just different. Both had their moments in the sun, I will get some eventually. Peter how does the top of the line, compare to the cheaper models.
Steve,
Craig could probably answer your question in more detail.  I find the higher up in model you go with KL's cables, the better they sound.  Much better!!!!!  Even from one model to another.

Steve,

Since I got volunteered.

The best way I could describe is that the higher spec ones I have are like a combination of the 6s and the yamamura.
Sweeter, more open and better speed and clarity than the 6s, bigger soundstage in all dimensions, better decay and musical expression but with that little bit of bite in the vocals that the yamamura had.
Hard to comment on weight balance.
I have another set of 6s here that I am running in so will be able to do a direct comparison in a couple of weeks and then give you very specific descriptions of what I hear with a number of selected tracks.
Eg Pete Seager, Beatles, Weavers, Brothers Four, Wynton Marsalis, Planets

When I put the d-getters in the DAC, Brothers Four is sounding very very much like it was when we were playing it at your place, but a mix of yamamura plus 6 flavoring.
Just looking for a little more clarity in my amp which will hopefully be addressed by the same wiring configuration on the input as your 50 amp.  Later this week hopefully.

Will keep you informed.

I just ordered a set of Copper Harmony,  so I can compare to the Pure (silver) Harmony.
It's all about the music,, not the equipment.

Hi ozmillsy, should be interesting but I have tried all three now (copper, silver, pure) and the Pure is definitely is the best (produces the best sound) but it is the dearest  :)
