Totally forgot about trying the tubes out. So tonight fitted one into the socket to test on the headphone amp. Replaced the E88CC Philips SQ. Not bad for fresh tube. Not as sweet as the SQ. Maybe they needs some hours to loosen up. If any KDAC users interested in trying my pair already fitted in the 9pin sockets (ie. plug n play), I'd be happy to send them over in a couple of weeks.
