Interesting high end capacitors

(1/6) > >>

brenden:
Some of my interesting  high end audio caps .

These are ultra high end Toichi  capacitors from Japan .
They are a  non inductive copper foil polypropylene .
Unfortunately only sold in Japan . I havent tried them yet .
   They come in 0 .1  , 0.2 , and 0.5uf .

Could they be better than V caps  or even on par .
I do actually prefer polypropylene to teflon , so should be interesting.

brenden:
This one is from the same company .
Its a high end  silver mica specially produced for audio . Very expensive .

brenden:
These are a Vitamin  Q  replica by Delritmo .  chicklet I think they call them .

They are  a oiled paper cap .

brenden:
These are a 0.1 50v  Nobel  polystyrene film and foil  . These would be good around a TDA1541 I reckon.
Note the large  size for the capacitance . Nearly all the best  audio caps are bigger .
Polystyrene caps are great for high  frequency work , but not made any more .

brenden:
These are a   .056   1500v  Auricap .
They are huge .  Very good for high voltage work .

I will consider selling some of these if anyone is interested.
