Jantzen superior Zcap

Any one tried these , thinking of using them on the input filter on my Michi power amp.

By input filter, do you mean as DC blocking cap?

I haven't used them but they do seem good going by what I have read on the net.

Yep , connected in series with the rca hot pin , at the mo there is a blackgate electrolytic in the posi and I am not a big bg fan.

Personally I think the change would be a positive one (electro' V Film), but then it will depend on whether you like the resulting sound or not.

Well the Jantzens arrived this morning and have already replaced the BG electrolytics in the power amp.
So far so good , nice improvement in body and no apparent downside.

What changes did you notice in the sound?

Hi df, the sound is more solid and fleshed out , greater sense of liqudity and musical flow.
PRAT also seems to have moved up a notch or two.
The volume cotrol now seems to act more like a 'focus' control rather than just making the music louder ,if that makes sense.
I put the psu caps in around the same time so bare that in mind
