I know the highend Marantz & Philips CDP's are the desired transports, but as an owner of a CD50 I can vouch for their performance when modded and this one looks almost brand new.  For those unable, or not prepared to fork out the bigger bucks then this CD50 is IMO something worth considering as a dedicated transport. In some areas the CD50 does outperform the CD94, and price is one of them!!

Really cheap CDM1 transport.   The thing I like about this 1,  is there is a peep window in the top,  to see what cd is in the player without having to open the tray.

Cheap CD960 from the US.   This one looks like it has a S1 crown in it,  hard to tell as the crown is covered by a wire?

Thanks for the heads up flemo, I was thinking to snipe it as I need a spare laser for my CD94, but I think Danny Digital would be able to help me on that so it's all yours  :)
