You can always sell them again as a pair and the price could go higher than what you paid, well done ozmillsy  :)

[kicks the feet up, and smokes a virtual cigar,  while waiting for stuff to arrive]  I'm going to savour the build process of my killer, take it slow and steady, absorb as much as I can.    I'm a lucky fella,  being down the road from Steven.   8)

To be honest, I'm not sure these chokes are gunna fit in the 2ru case.

Steve has a pair of these (painted black), that he showed me last night.  I'm pretty sure they're the same ones,   and it was freak co-incidence that I got home and saw the links on here.   We were debating if they'd fit.   It's touch and go.

I might need a flemo special to fit them in?

according to: http://www.the-planet.org/pdf/UTC.pdf

the CG-40 has a RC112 case, which has a base of 3 7/16" sq. ~ 88mm sq.

1U = 1 3/4" ~ 44.5mm

if the Jaycar case internal dimension is 2U it should fit with 1mm to spare, if its the external dimension (most likely) it's probably just too big to fit... dremel time

(it's amazing what google knows!~)

Eyeballing it last night,  they looked too big (just).  I might be able to trim back the base plate on the chokes,  but before I do that I have abit of time to hunt around for a bigger case.

I almost got those chokes on eBay last time but missed out because I wasn't sure about the spec, then someone bought it right after the seller answered my question. Steven is still fuming that I didn't tell/ask him about it. I believe the S version means special series which could be the better version than commercial/standard ones, but who knows until we really listen to them...
