Bypass caps

I recall some discussion, here I think, WRT the use of bypass caps on electrolytics and the problem of creating a "tank circuit" introducing high frequency resonance.
IIRC the comments came from Zenelectro and there was reference to using a small value resistor in series with the bypass cap to overcome this issue.
I would be grateful of a refresh on this, particularly value/s of resistor appropriate.

Thanks Gordon, that looks like exactly the one I remembered.
At least my memory of most of the details was better than my search skills :D
