Am I the only one using a SS amp to drive their killer dac??
It's all about the music,, not the equipment.

No.  My actives have SS amps,  and they love being driven by the Lightspeed/Killer dac combination.   This KD is on loan (to me), for the moment.

Wait til I bring my modded Yaqin over Pete.

Nothing wrong with SS amplification though.  Keen to listen to bhobba's NAKSA actually.

Happy to send it over to you guys in Perth when we have finished with it.  The designer Hugh Dean says its more like a valve amp than a transistor one.  That's because its unique topology promotes even order distortion harmonics rather that the odd order ones you usually get with transistors.

Thanks
