Thinking about getting one of these babies to try power my high freq compression driver.  Only $200.   Has got quite good wrap so far.

Any thoughts?    I know Martin (Mr Azurahorn) uses one of these to power his tweeter on his 3way horn setup and it seems to do job pretty well. Low noise floor etc.

Curious to know how it compares to the Helder Audio TA2020 MKIII class-T amp.

Its meant to be quite "loose" on the bottom end, not that that matters for you.

That's right hens. Thinkin of using 1 or maybe 2  for the high and mid high

Then maybe Musical Paradise 401 (15watt SET, el34/kt88/kt66/6l6) for the mid low driver (400hz-1000hz)

and my Cayin MT-35 (35watt pushpull el34) for the Altec woofer.

When summer comes and my room feels like a boiler and the valve amps are not helping the situation,  I'll crank up the 88% efficient class-T 8 channel poweramp monsters! :)

Could be right hens.

Like that? But with 3x of these kits on a wooden board?    Interesting...

or, go the bottlehead sex, they do decent discounts for bulk purchases. Only problem is you will have to build it yourself.

Thanks for the info hens.  Seems like the 6x zen triode board is best suit for my application.   Probably go for these and dismiss the musical paradise amps :x

Hi, the decware looks quite expensive for what you get. Theres 2 main areas that ultimately determine the final quality of a tube amp, the power supply, and the output transformer, both seem to be compromised in that kit. (no choke in power supply, looks like a simple CRC filter, and small OPTs)

I'd suggest googling the RH84 SE design, similar circuit 12AT7/EL84 with lots of very good reviews, and lots of info on diyaudio/other forums, and ordering your transformers from say electraprint, although same claim to have good success with cheap Edcor or mid priced Hammond opts (125ESE from memory). You should be able to build 3 stereo amps for more or less the same amount
